By registering an author account or utilizing the AI Co-Writer tools on writeyouth.in ("Platform"), you agree to abide by these Terms of Use. Please review them carefully.
1. Author Account & Manuscript Ownership
- You must be at least 13 years of age to publish on Write Youth.
- 100% Rights Preservation: You maintain complete and exclusive copyright ownership over your manuscripts, book cover vectors, and promotional assets.
- Non-Exclusive License: By listing your book on our store, you grant Write Youth a non-exclusive license to format, typeset, print, distribute, and ship your book globally on your behalf.
2. Publishing Mechanics & Distribution
- Zero Setup Fees: Standard compilation, typesetting, ISBN assignment, and digital bookstore listing are completely free.
- Print-on-Demand Fulfillment: Physical paperbacks are printed individually when orders arrive. We reserve the right to establish printing depots and configure print margins to cover manufacturing costs.
- Listing Removal: You can choose to unlist your book from active retail channels at any time, which will be processed within 5 to 7 business days.
3. Royalty Calculations & Bank Settlements
- Write Youth pays up to 85% of net profits (Retail Price minus POD Manufacturing Cost and channel transaction fees).
- Earnings accumulate live in your dashboard. Settlements can be initiated directly to your UPI handle or NEFT account.
- Authors are solely responsible for filing income taxes on their royalties in their respective home countries.
4. Acceptable Content Rules
We are dedicated to fostering a safe creative space. Authors must not publish manuscripts containing:
- Copyrighted text, assets, or characters belonging to other creators.
- Hate speech, promotion of self-harm, or targeted harassment.
- Graphic materials violating national laws (including POCSO / Child Protection codes).
5. Service Adjustments
We reserve the right to alter pricing tokens, printing fee benchmarks, and AI tools parameters as technologies and shipping channels evolve. Continuous use indicates acceptance of updated codes.
