Write Youth ("we", "us", "our") maintains a strict child safety environment. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against any form of child exploitation, abuse, or content harmful to minors.
1. Compliance with Indian & International Laws
Our platform operations comply fully with the protection laws of India and global standards, including:
- The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), 2012.
- The Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) guidelines under the Information Technology Rules of India.
- The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
2. Prohibited Content & Abuse Material (CSAM)
We actively monitor book submissions, outlines, and summaries. The creation, sharing, or loading of the following content is prohibited and will be met with immediate account termination:
- Any text, synopses, or illustrations depicting minors in explicit, sexualized, or abusive situations.
- Instructional files detailing harmful or violent behavior targeting minors.
- Content that encourages or normalizes the exploitation of children.
3. Account Registration & Parental Controls
- The platform requires registering authors to be at least 13 years old.
- Authors between 13 and 18 years of age are expected to acquire parental guidance prior to listing commercial books.
- Parents or guardians can request the removal of account details of minors by emailing: safety@writeyouth.in.
4. Reporting Incidents
If you discover any content or user interaction that endangers minors or references CSAM, report it immediately to: trust@writeyouth.in. All reports are treated with absolute privacy. We collaborate with national cyber crime agencies to report legal violations.
