1. Respect Ownership & Plagiarism Check
Plagiarism violates our code and is illegal. You must hold rights to the work you submit:
- Do not compile paragraphs or chapters copied from books, sites, or other writers.
- Do not publish fan-fiction containing copyrighted characters or franchises (e.g. Harry Potter, Marvel) as commercial physical books.
- Our formatting engine automatically analyzes text for copyright duplicates. Found copies will be unlisted.
2. Ethical AI Assistance
We provide the Akshara AI suite to expand your creative potential, not to replace original expression:
- Use AI tools to brainstorm characters, structure plots, refine sentences, and translate draft files.
- Mass-generating completely automated spam books with zero creative input is prohibited. We value real author voices.
3. Content Categorization & Restrictions
Writers must select appropriate age ratings (General, YA, Adult) when creating book metadata. Content that is illegal or highly damaging is banned:
- Hate Speech: Manuscripts promoting discrimination or targeting specific demographics.
- Harassment: Targeted cyber-bullying or exposing private citizen credentials.
- Violent Extremism: Instruction sheets for violent acts or illegal modifications.
4. Reporting & Enforcement
If you encounter a published book or reader comments that breach these rules, click the report button or notify team: trust@writeyouth.in. Infractions can lead to account suspension or manuscript removal.
